Title Border Violations in Medical Professions in “10 Points”: If you have problems with your borders, then extend them, Mr. Atilla

Why do people try to extend the borders?

1. The search for economic rent coming from an area of expertise

2. Failure to update 90 years of reference information used in defining the specialization

3. Pushing people/cadres accumulated in a certain field of expertise are pushed into the boundaries to find new areas of work i which are more profitable and easier to do.

4. The absence of a serious institutional, structural, administrative and legal will of power to address disputes and conflicts between different areas of expertise.

5. The patientsˊ openness and the ease of application of the border violations in social life despite theoretical resistance; the lack of legal rules preventing such possibilities. The problematic situation of the developing countries which confuse data with scientific information; ignorance;

6. Imitation of uncontrolled practices of crowded western countries, which face a chaotic situation in health system, taking such applications as precedents ( in USA, you can find a health association which gives a dentists the license to apply silicon prosthesis to buttocks)

7. The lack of (inability to have) unity, solidarity and determination among experts from different areas of expertise whose rights violated; inability of the associations in these areas to direct their members, inert and cumbersome structure of the associations that are expected to protect their members, lack of courage, knowledge and vision of the managers selected in these associations.

8. The continuous involvement of certain people in the management of associations to gain and maintain power and the use of the power of the associations for club which the manager belongs rather than for the members which the association should serve.

9. The position of the professional chambers, institutions and associations, which prefer to stay at a distance from the Ministry of Health in scarifying sacrifice the establishment of productive communication that can bring about solutions to the benefit of their intellectual arrogance. They prefer looking at problems with a political perspective rather than with responsibility and scientific approach, which is the basis of their selection to the organs of these institutions.
10. The capacity of Health Ministry not to fail to do wrong/partisan practices and Its pontification and involvement in simple politics rather than finding solution to problems with a dignifying competence and the alternative voices legitimize the negative attitude of the Associations.

Please do not get me wrong Mr. Atilla!  I do not share your views and I claim that borders mean “honor”. If there are no borders, we cannot learn, we cannot differentiate between the right and the wrong, we cannot move forward. We cannot do planning and programming. We cannot define and protect ourselves, and I claim that it is not possible to produce science without borders
