Ear Aesthetics

These are the procedures to provide/make shape to the prominent ear and big, asymmetric and shapeless ears. The aesthetic appearance of the ear and the angular relationship of the ear with its appearance and the other ear and the head must be considered.

Prominent ear surgery is performed by shaping the cartilage with sutures under local anesthesia. The incision is hidden behind the ears. The patient wears the compressive bandana for 7 days, it is not necessary to take the sutures out because the soluble sutures are removed.

The operation time/period for each ear is approximately 30 minutes. The patient is checked immediately after the operation and is discharged with recommendations. The patient should lie on the back for a while. The non-congenital or deformed ears are fixed/recovered with the cartilages obtained from the ribs.
