    1. Why is shopping an antidepressant? Why does it make you feel better? Whose deficiency is covered up in this way?

19 Why are the people, who are repressed in life, at work, at school, the best and most wanted type of consumers?

Brand addiction, redundant consumption, frequent renewal of a model or a product,  are parts of a defense mechanism of alleviating and/or surpassing a disturbing situation that is faced in the psycho-mental process intended at making decision/choices freely on his/her own, crying out that he or she is not in need, covering up the psychology of failure, by a person who is subjected to the erosion of self-value through social and/or individual negligence.

“Shopping, excessive consumption, and brand addition” is a personal response that is helplessly used by the individual. It is possible to manipulate this response.

Yes, for this reasons, “shopping” is an antidepressant. It makes you feel good. Naturally, if the underlying conditions do not change and/or a better understanding of the conditions cannot be developed, it causes addiction.  And the banks also bet on this fact in their never ending advertisements by claiming “if you do not have money, no problem; we do not get any processing expense, just get your credit from us” (on the condition that you will exceedingly pay it back)

The theme is that you are always deficient and you have to close that gap.

Do you want to live an eco-friendly life? Then,  just keep away from the advertisements.
