Regardless of breast absence (amastia) or breast augmentation, all patients with silicone breast prosthesis should observe their breasts in the next period of the life.
It is recommended that patients should check/observe their breasts with MR (magnetic resonance) after 3 years from the operation and once in every 2 years for the next period in order to monitor complications such as silicone rupture.
