Academic titles indicate that a surgeon has more experience and better. FALSE
Academic titles are the titles that are conferred upon to the studies and evaluations in the selected topics/subjects in the university.
In these environments, there is hierarchy. These systems and standards can vary from country to country and from university to university. The people who make research studies in order to find answer to a question by using scientific methods are called scientists.
Aesthetic procedures (+/- surgical) are medical procedures and are based on plastic surgery procedures about how the surgeon/doctor reflects the experience and knowledge with the planning (+/- careful) on the patient. A title based on academic work does not imply that any degree holder perform a procedure safer or better etc.
Regardless of having an academic title, the basic requirements for a plastic surgeon who perform aesthetic procedures (+/- surgical); surgical experience with updated and reliable information/knowledge, the ability to develop strategies for problems, the skill to perform procedures and the knowledge.
There can be no scientific and realistic need to reinforce an updated approach that includes these requirements with an academic title to make the work better.
