Follow the firs 3 people in our country and in the world who have full knowledge of the field/subject, and contact with them.

     

    1. You should have website, business/personal card and stamp. Also, you should have letterhead stationery and envelope. Work with the most equipped and professional hospital in your area. Your preference will reflect you.

     

    1. You should have an experienced colleague who you will consult when you are not sure to decide. An honest, reliable consultant who will give second opinion. When you believe that you are experienced and have knowledge about the subject, you give this support to another person/colleague unconditionally. For a plastic surgeon who has just opened clinic, the master-apprentice relationship is significant.

     

    1. Don’t compare yourself to other colleagues, just focus on your project and carry it out. (See: codes)

     

    1. Your assistant or someone who you choose should explain money or fee issues to the patients. Advance payment, payment in installments, payment on credit card etc. You focus on your profession and expertise area.     Small gestures and sympathetic gifts from your patients

    Receiving positive opinions and comments

    Bring a friend to your clinic (more clicks than recommendation/suggestion)

    Asking you about doctors who are in the different expertise area

    Peace at home, peace at work

    Make time for yourself and your family

    Asking your colleagues to give opinion on professional or special issues

     

    1. Do not try to break record or in the operating room, carefully perform the operations/procedures as if every operation/procedure was a jubilee, or was your last operation. Give value to your assistants who help you in the operating room.
    2. Regardless of conditions, never make concessions on your health, sleep, sports, family, child and nutrition.

     

    1. Avoid someone who are always negative and unhappy, you will be contaminated. Alcohol consumption leads to an atmosphere of similar emotion, the antidote is field sports. In my own experience, the most ideal form for a plastic surgeon is reinforcing sport, the crossfit, and the ideal music for the surgery and clinic is Mahler.

     

    1. Have siesta in your workplace, taking nap for 25-30 minutes in a place without light corresponds to rest, regeneration and attention that you get 40-minute cardio. This procedure (nap capsule) is almost standard in airports, multinational corporations.
